A great spot in the heart of Dijon. Pleasant terrace, but the interior decor is also very attractive. Attentive service. A good, reasonably priced wine list.

Just dining on the terrace while overlooking the quiet square was enough to make me feel the leisure of the trip. The food was impressive, from the plating to the fresh ingredients and delicate sauces. I will visit again.

The wait to be served was enormous, over 2 hours for starters and main courses, perhaps there was a problem in the kitchen? A simple explanation or a word of apology from the manager would have been welcome, which was not the case.

A truly excellent choice. Coinciding with the historic heatwave in France, we decided to visit this restaurant for a leisurely dinner. And we were completely delighted by the decor, the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food. We enjoyed spectacular sea bream and turbot, followed by desserts of nougat ice cream with berries and a raspberry tart, all washed down with glasses of Marsannay Blanc. If you want a truly enjoyable meal and a real treat, I highly recommend this restaurant in Dijon. A delight.

Villa Vauban in Dijon is located in a neighborhood frequented less by typical tourists and more by gourmets and locals, a clear indication of the restaurant's exceptional culinary quality. Although we hadn't made a reservation, the owner, Maria, gave us an incredibly warm welcome and still managed to find us a table. A hostess and entrepreneur with genuine passion and a remarkable presence. The service remained consistently excellent throughout the evening: attentive, professional, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We opted for the three-course menu. The appetizer alone was a delight: raw sea bream with a delicate mix of vegetables, accompanied by onions marinated in beetroot juice and exquisitely balanced flavors—a true culinary treat. The sea bass as the main course impressed with its perfect tenderness and harmonized beautifully with the al dente asparagus, a dish like a culinary sunrise. My guest's fillet was also very flavorful, but it wasn't quite cooked to the desired medium doneness. The absolute highlight, however, was the dessert: nougat ice cream with caramelized nuts—simply divine. The evening was rounded off with a superbly curated selection of cheeses, from Comté to Époisses, served in four perfectly coordinated courses. Overall, Villa Vauban offers excellent value for money and a culinary experience with meticulous attention to detail. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated a birthday on the terrace, which was very pleasant despite the heat, and enjoyed excellent food! The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. This gourmet restaurant was a great find, and I'll definitely be back! A must-try!

I ordered a tartare that was far too salty. And I do like salt… I couldn't finish it. The service, however, was very friendly and cordial.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch on the terrace in the sun. Nice spot just outside the hustle and bustle. Had a two-course à la carte; both dishes were exquisite.
