The best part is that you can sample traditional dishes from Dijon and the surrounding region. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. You can order individual dishes. The restaurant also offers a three-course menu with an appetizer, main course, and dessert at very reasonable prices. The veal cheeks were delicious and tender—they literally melted. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The hamburger was excellent. The salad was good, but there was too much greenery; it wasn't worth the price!

Visiting Dijon, we wandered the streets. We chose Chez Gaston. It was a weekday evening, very quiet. The staff were pleasant. Despite a minor issue with the egg meurette being cold inside, which we pointed out and it was immediately rectified. Everything was very good and the portions were generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Pretty good meal. Price reasonable, vibe kinda touristy but food was descent. Service very friendly. Wife had the Beef Bourgogne, I enjoyed the duck confit. Pretty good but clearly most people in the place were tourists

Excellent restaurant, top-quality cuisine. I had the duck breast with blackcurrant sauce; it was cooked to perfection and had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For dessert, a brioche French toast... simply exceptional! The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. It was a real treat. I had a wonderful evening and I will definitely be back.

A perfect Saturday evening on the terrace! The service was superb; it's wonderful to have such friendly and welcoming waitresses. The service was perfectly timed, not too slow and not too fast, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening. The portions were also very generous and the food was absolutely delicious. And the prices were unbeatable! I highly recommend it!

Not great

Terrible experience. The food was bland. Tough steak - ordered medium, but got rare. The pepper sauce was outstanding. In addition, we got tartare - it lacked salt and flavor and the meat was tough. The burgers were dry, the meat boring and the cheese sauce basic. Stay away - it's a huge trap.

Overall, the establishment is decent, the services offered are also acceptable, but the servers take their time, the burgers have stale bread and don't really have much taste, very disappointed for the price, the fries are very hard, really disappointed….

Had dinner with my husband here and were both impressed by the service and the value of the food. My husband ordered the set three course meal for 29euro and I ordered and main and dessert menu for only 16euro. Both were lovely meals, good quality and reasonable sized meals for such a small price. The service staff were very attentive and after we explained in French and apologised that we didn’t speak the language, they all happily switched to English for us. The menus they provided had English also in them which jaded ordering easy.

Very good! We had a great time. The only slight downside was the wait between courses, but the air conditioning was a bonus! However, a big thank you to our server Mika, who was very pleasant and helpful throughout.

Michael gave us a very warm welcome and the food is still excellent! 👍
