Average, 3 meals of really average quality, which is a shame, nice site

We came on June 25, 2026, right after an appointment at the Talant clinic. It's the closest restaurant with good reviews, so we called around 1:10 PM to see if it was still possible to get a table for three people and were warmly welcomed despite the late hour. We arrived 10 minutes later, at 1:20 PM. The welcome and service were friendly, no complaints there. However, we were very disappointed with the food compared to the ratings and reviews we had read 😕. We ordered the lunch special with mussels and fries. The mussels had a much stronger smell than what we're used to with mussels and fries. Many had fallen off their shells, and those that still had meat were often firm with very little substance. I removed the ones that didn't look good to me. The staff offered us seconds, which we appreciated, but we ultimately decided against it. The mussels seemed overcooked, even reheated. The fries weren't great either, and we had trouble digesting them (it was hard to tell if the problem was with the mussels or the fries). Finally, my wife had ordered a different dessert, but she was served a tarte Tatin instead, which we weren't particularly impressed with either. It's a shame, because the welcome was pleasant, but for us, the quality of the food was disappointing. I even mentioned it when paying to let them know how we felt. Given our experience, we were very surprised by the 4.7/5 rating given to the establishment, which doesn't reflect our experience at all.

The food was excellent, and the waitress was friendly. Just a little pricey, but the ingredients are good quality, so I guess it's just inflation...

Very nice restaurant Great food, service & ambience

A good restaurant that showcases regional cuisine. I was a little disappointed by the seafood risotto, which was a bit bland for my taste. The welcome and service were pleasant. It's a shame there are no set menus in the evening.

A really nice restaurant with a very warm welcome. The manager is super professional: energetic and very pleasant. We had a very good dinner. Highly recommended.
